WHAT WE OFFER
DINING
Our Dining area is in a closed off building next to our swimming pool and grass roof lapa where you can dine indoors or outdoors. Inside the dinning area there is a cozy fire place for the freezing winters and a air-con for the hot summers.

Make yourself at home and watch the sports as well as have a meal, a few drinks and good company.
​
Dinner is served between 6pm-8pm
(Lamb of the day) - R220 per person
A starter and pudding menu is available.
​
Breakfast is served between 7am-9am (English breakfast) - R120 per person.
Meals can be booked up to a day before arrival.
​
We can cater for vegetarians and vegans on request.
BAR
We have a licensed and well stocked Bar.
​
Our Bar is a honesty bar.
Help your self and write it up.
Or we will gladly serve you.
​
In the warm months, enjoy a ice cold beer, sun downer or a nice refreshing cold drink.
In the cold months a good warm cup of coffee, hot choc, tea next to our cozy fireplace.
SMALL SHOP
We have a small shop inside our Dining/ Bar area, where we sell some home made produce and hand made products.
​
locally roasted coffee, hand made jewelry, home made jams and preserves, locally sourced lamb and braai packs, home cooked ready made meals, ice bags, etc.
POOL
Our pool area (next to our bar/dinning room) is open to all our guests to cool down and have a nice refreshing swim on our hot summer days.
BRAAI
We have a few braai areas available for those who want to have their own good old South African braai.
We sell braaipacks, lamb chops, wood, ice and also offer sides like salad, pap and sauce, "braaibroodtjies", etc.
(sides with your braai can be booked a day before arrival)
KIDS PLAY AREA
We have a small play area for kids were they can burn some energy after the long drive and a skate ramp for older kids.

ANIMALS
We have some animals living at the
Guest Farm, who are like family to us.
From chickens who provide farm fresh eggs, to tame sheep and a springbok as pets.
Ducks, cats, rabbits and Sky our
Boston terrier.
​
We also get some veld animals that visit from time to time. Guinea fowl, orange river franklin, meerkats, tortoise, hedgehogs and many more.
GARDEN
Enjoy our lovely summer garden where you can just enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.
VEGTABLE GARDEN
Take a walk through our own little veggie patch where we try and grow as much as our own produce as possible.
VELD WALKS AND CYCLING
Take a walk or cycle in the open velt and enjoy the beauty, peace and tranquility of the Free State landscape and our beautiful sunsets.
STAR GAZING
For those who love the stars, gaze upon the breathtaking night sky, bright and unspoiled by city lights.
BIRD WATCHING
For the birders out there. Come and see our unique Free State bird life.
From the big blue cranes/ secretary birds to the small Klapper larks and more.
FARMING
We are a working sheep farm.
We farm with a mixed sheep breed for meat and for their hardiness.

There is some attractions in and around Springfontein.

Gariepdam - Dam wall, resort, restaurants.
Philippolis - Oldest town in the Freestate.
Bethulie - Historical sites.
Tromsburg - Coffee shop and restaurant.
Springfontein - Important railway junction, British concentration camp.
